I've seriously never swung my big f'in hammer that many times.
Flattened a chisel pretty good, did a bit of cursing, then talking nice to it, then talking mean to it, trying to reason with it, etc. It was quite an ordeal.
Look at all that rust dust. They were just shot. One side rusted tight and one side rusted and nearly gone.

Attempted to change the front pads, but ...

Advanced Auto silver pads don't fit .

Golds in there now, but I think due to my prior brake issues they may be glazed.

Swapped the pads at Advanced with no issues- I'm fact, guy at the counter said he has seen fit issues before.

Motivation has been lost, though, and I already put up the 80 lb floor Jack (not an exaggeration- Craftsman 3 ton monster) so perhaps another day .:p

It's a $200 macco paint job for sure but, it looks much better than it did. Just did half the hood and drivers front fender today.

One step at a time, it will all work out, takes a while to get use to the floor shifter, I’m always reaching for the column shifter 2 months after putting In my floor shifter.

Really sucks when you get in your wifes car that is floor shift and grab the wiper lever and yank down. LOL....luckily all I heard was a crack and not a snap off.

Earlier in the week I was messing around with the timing so I used the vice grips to plug the vac advance line when I unplugged it and seem to have left it on the cowl. I really need to stop forgetting all of my tools under the hood, but they do not go anywhere so it could be worse.

Cleaned out the cab of all the tools and parts. Cleaned out the bed.

Truck going to PROFESSIONAL welder to fix the driver floor that I ****** up with my feeble attempts at welding.

Either that or the truck becomes a 500 yd. target.
