Started it Saturday, didn't die, ordered gaskets and clutches for the transmission to get that buttoned up. Still on the fence about doing a converter.

On Saturday I got the '77 out and we drove it quite a bit. I also cleaned it up and got it looking perty.

Sunday, drove the dually around quite a bit. Now that it's warming up I'm hoping to start making more progress on her.

Waiting to come across another “real” GMC grille to fix Bucket’s contribution to the cause, but until then.... I like it.

What do you guys think?

Man they both look good on there. It's like a winter and summer look.

Nice, I wish I had cash, space and time to learn working a lathe. Great for making custom transmission drums. I'd also like to make a set up bushing drivers.

Filled out a build sheet for an FTI converter, I'm still on the fence about it, it's quite expensive and really doesn't fit my build at all.
