Yesterday I got the oil changed, topped off the other fluids, loaded up the dogs and got a scoop of compost and a scoop of sand and made some garden soil. Today is dump runs.

Be sure to get the ground buss at the driver side kick panel. There's like what looks to be a junction where all those wire come together on the driver side kick panel just up inside the dash. It's riveted or bolted to the sheet metal. If can get loose or gets a little rust behind it and the wires lose good ground and it'll keep the power windows from working. All the wire chasing I did on my 85 K1500, and it turned out that's all it was. Cleaned the terminals, IIRC, I cleaned the sheet metal, and used a good quality self tapper and anchored it down in a different spot and covered it with silicone to seal it and prevent any more rusting and they worked fine when I sold it.

Excellent tip, man. Hopefully I can find it today, and hopefully that's the problem.
Much appreciated.

Fired up the K20 today, smokes real bad out of the drivers side pipe. Missing hard on 7, looks like engine time. I have the original 4 bolt 350 .030 over with about 10-12 k miles on it . That will go back in in a month or so, after the Nova is back together.

Still nothing, but my sister is visiting for a few days. I'll try to get to it after she leaves.

Broken arm back to normal.

Gotta finish the floor first so I can get the seat back in. Wait, gotta put the rear corner speakers in first.

I have come to realize what a ****** welder I am. And flux core wire is a BITCH to grind.

Glad to hear your arm has healed.
I'm told to never rush your weld. Remove all flammables from the area.
Please make sure your seat backs and tray table are in their upright and locked positions.

As for grinding . . .

Topped off the oil and the washer fluid , and fired her up and ran her to full warm up.

Ran the ac and heater, too.

Goldie has been sitting at my folks house for roughly a month now.

Too many 4 wheel toys and not enough room in the driveway.

May have to sell the Camaro or Cobalt, but don't really want to.

Boo.

Got my new tires on! Woo hoo!
Had new rotors, rebuilt calipers and bearings put on.
Truck ran fine, for about a mile. Cough, sputter sputter for the next 10 miles. Died in the driveway.
Gotta carb rebuild kit coming from Cliff Ruggles. He called my Edelbrock SP2P a 'turd'. I told him I didn't put the damn thing on. It came with the truck.
He said a stock intake would work better. Neighbor has one he said I could have just to get it out of his way.

New fuel pump will go on. Looked inside the distributor today. UGH! New rotor, cap, coil and maybe even module forthcoming.

Couldn't get the steering stabilizer bolts out to install my new KYB. Application of PB Blaster and time will tell.

Pix soon.

99 Camaro SS and a '09 Cobalt SS sedan turbo- 1 of 474 made in the U.S.

1year only model - kind of like the 80 square eyes with the door speakers instead of map pockets.

Rare = valuable, right ?

I am car rich !

I have a pair of those doors....

LMC sells repro door panels in saddle that have the holes marked where to cut for power locks and door trim .

I strongly suspect the speaker holes are not.

If yours are in good shape, probably worth something , unless you have them mounted in your truck, in which case they are worth more. :p

Speaking of , those gold plated ones you found a while back ever sell ?
