Know of any shops that electropolish parts?

Again, thanks for the electropolish (EP) idea. I've been reading up on it all week. Found a few videoa that ya'll may be interested in. I've made my own carbon fiber brushes to do it manually. If that doesn't work out I'll look further into a homemade tank. I'm worried about pitting is why I'm backing off the tank.

Yeh I could just get a set of chrome valve covers and relocate the coils, but where's the fun in that.

I'll put up a new post about EP with pics, success or fail. I know peeps could use it for cleaning up welds an such either way.

There's 2 parts on the next, but you get the gist of it after the first.

Trimmed my fenders and painted my stock bumpers black with an aerosol bedliner. Look in "paint and body" section for the fender trim info and pics. The stock bumpers will eventually be swapped when I have time to fab up some beefy ones. I also fixed my steering column and ordered up a custom rear shaft.

Looking to sell my C-10. Sadly we must part ways, I am in need of a 4x4. I love my Chevy, she's a classic. Anybody who will give her a good home can have her for $12,500. She's restored nearly completely with a 350 mild build she purrs like a kitten. The trans TH350 rebuilt and stuffed her belly with racing discs and plates, and even gave her a new 2200 stall.

Bought a radio today. I'm sick of the old shaft radio putting out fuzzy sounds from just one speaker, so I got the Metra dash kit and picked up a Sony headunit. Hopefully I will finally have some decent tunes!

Could have it been a dirty volume potentiometer? The new one have usb in the back? If it does slap some mp3's on there and you'll know you have decent tunes.

No clue on the potentiometer. I think there are some heat problems inside. The sound degrades over time. It could honestly use a serious rebuild. I hate to get rid of it because it was the second-most expensive upgrade the original owner payed for (behind the 454). It's a sweet semi-digital shaft radio that would kick ass if it was in good shape. Oh well. I bought a DIN radio that matches one I have in my other vehicle. Its one of the old Sony X-Plod radios. I love it. Dunno about the USB, I just use the aux-in and control it with my phone.

Today I replaced the cab door weatherstripping (both sides) and new window channels and sweep on the driver's side. What a PIA, I definitely underestimated that job, plus it's so difficult to get the window up and down. Maybe I'll do the passenger side tomorrow. I also have a new steering wheel coming tomorrow so I will probably get to hat first

I've had the truck just over a month and I've done the following:

Oil change
Flushed radiator
New Grille
Replaced rear view mirror
Fixed Cargo light
Fixed Dome light
New Air filter
New Fuel line (fuel pump to carb)
NewFuel filter
New Fuel pump
Clean out out wiper fluid reservoir and got new cap
Replaced Hazard flasher
Installed new CD player with proper dash install plate
Fixed turn signal lever knob
Deleted air pump
Deleted charcoal canister
New Floor mats
New AC compressor
New Dryer/orifice tube
New Evaporator core
Flushed/vacuum/charge system 134
Fixed wiper switch
LED Dash lights

Sure there's some things I've forgotten
