Added a permanent vacuum gauge next to the carb. Also cut some plastic to fit over the ashtray hole for a tach. The tach is just over 2" and fits in the hole and face plate tightly. The face plate is cut from ~3/16" plastic case I had laying around. May add USB or cut out for the lighter. Probably USB that runs to the radio so I can just stick my music stick there instead of tucked in behind the tray. Radio puts out enough power to charge a phone. Need to pretty up the ashtray and run the wiring through the firewall.

I may be able to come up with some of those gauges. I don't care to share (free + shipping). I'll let you all know.

Went to hook up the tach. I've got the aftermarket fuel gauge, rear view mirror mod, aftermarket electric door locks installed. In other words it's a mess over by the fuse box. I'm going to install a terminal block for ACC and ground. LOL I wired the carb choke in with the wiper. When I just tested the voltage with a meter, the wipers moved! Only read 11V as well. Gotta clean this crap up LOL. May put one of each in the engine bay as well.

Sunuva Bish !!! Finally took the time to get the tailgate open and pull it apart to find out what happened. Took some pics, sooooo prolly a write up in the near future. All I can say is, if you need to work on your tailgate latch assembly, bring your patience. Very simple, but not all that easy to manipulate the parts to get them all together correctly.

I like that location. Is the relay for the strip or something else? I was planning on putting a relay in to control power to it.

It runs my fuel pump theres a switch on off under dash.
The light bar has its own wire harness with relay.
I use it for the cig lighter, a few gauges, cb radio, consant power to a few other things works great couldnt tell you where i got it from

Put oil cooler on today was prety easy we will see if it works tomorrow. Also just got my perfomer plus cam and lifter kit and timing set today should go in, in a couple weeks

Fighting my crap idle circuit on the 1411 750 Edelbrock carb! Don't get this carb if you have a long duration cam. Just get a EDDY 650 or Holley brand carb. I'm learning my lesson right now. Only runs right with mechanical advance ONLY and no vacuum advance. But I love her regardless!
