Got the master cylinder in now waiting for my wife to come home and help me bleed the brakes. Been too damn hot to get much work done!

Pulled the rear diff cover last night due to a small oil puddle in my driveway when I got home. Let's say nobody has ever pulled the diff cover before, what is an expected amount of metal shavings to find on the magnet on the cover?

I wouldn't worry... Unless the rear was making grinding sounds or had a bad vibration. Otherwise pop the cover off drain, New gasket, and refill.

BAH!! Gotta get new calipers. Bleeders are so shot and I don't want to take any chances with bad brakes as the calipers look original. Oh well, it's only money. Glad my Son-in-Law works for Auto Zone!

Pulled half my trans, need a new transfer case swing as while friend was beating on it it busted,
So if anyone has one let me know!
Trans is sitting on a trans jack for the night, gotta sleep before work....

Had to redo my power window motor replacement so I did that last night. That regulator is a real PITA to get in and out of that door!! LOL Later this week will be putting in the comp/temp mirror. I'm also in the middle of planning out my audio upgrades in the '87.

Well, I didn't do it, but someone stole the radio out of the crewcab. Jokes on them, it's an old JVC radio only head unit, lol.

They got in through the door missing the lock knob/rod, so it couldn't be locked. At least they didn't break a window or anything.
