Got offended by the Mall Crawler statement huh???

Not at all, honestly it's just hard to find the time to get out. Also want to make a few changes to the susp.

It's still a nice truck though. Clean enough to be thought to be a Mall Crawler. It looks like you found the only rock in site.

Weather.com says I will be seeing a stretch of weather of less than 20% chance of rain for the next 5-6 days so I took the doors off.....

did my ujoint the other day, nice and clean, and red! wouldn't of needed to do it but the cap came off and the little bearing things went all over the damn place. pretty easy job really, two sockets and a bfh. hit it on the gound next to the truck, took 15 mins. not bad for a first time. lol

You did real good Ryan. Of course you did the easy U joint where it's not pressed in 4 ways like a slip yoke. Gotta be careful doing those with sockets and bfh, but it can sure be done. I've done many that way and only goofed twice. Older and wiser, I know use a bench vise for assembly. Still use the BFH for disassembly though. It feels to pound on something occasionally. Also keep in mind, even on disassembly you can damage your driveshaft or yoke beating in the wrong place.

Got the side glass, window seals, door handles, locks and mirrors installed. Wet sanded the new paint in those areas so I could install the above parts. Hopefully after work I can cut the paint in the drip rail area and install the drip rails.

Replaced the upper and lower ball joints last night, cleaned up the spindles and put in new bearings. That should tighten her up a little bit!
