I rotated the tires and changed the oil on the '88 Burb. I'm doing something new with the C10... letting it sit, lol. The truck hasn't had a real break since I got it a year or so ago, but I gave it all last week off.

I havent done anything much to mine for quite awhile except work the **** out of it. However I did finally find time to get the cruise control all hooked up and working great. I didnt use the vaccume cruise control module though, i used the module for the vortec trucks, and wired it into my switch on the columb. Looks factory but sure as hell works better then the ole vaccume style (atleast for now) :signs8:

I doubt he'll have issues with the Vortec type CC, The vac kind suck, even then, not as bad as the type with dual speedo cables that were notorious for failure. My Aunt and Uncle bought a brand new 80 Z28. 2 months old Crusie quit working. By the time they got it in for warranty work it wasn't covered. Back then warranties weren't all that great on vehicles. So they never had cruise on their brand new Z28.

Yes please?

Fellers dont forget my truck has the vortec motor in it. Not saying you couldnt use the vortec style cruise control, but saying it may be difficult because of the VCM. The cruise control needs an input from the VCM,VSS,Brake switch, and of course a power and ground.

I can start a new thread later and put the wiring diagrams in it for the cruise control if it would help, but write ups are hard for me to do cause most of the time I dont have3 time, barely get enough time to even do the project as it is.
