Test fitting the interior before sound deadening, carpet and dash/gauges. This is probably where I'm stalled at as far as interior until I address more pressing mechanical issues.....which are on deck

Finally got the steering stabilizer on. And took it for a spin, after hosing off days of pollen collected. There is just a touch more firmness to the turning and actually a little bit of recoil when letting go. It feels a little better. Cruised through the neighborhood and hit up Advance to buy some more coolant to feed the slight leak problem and saw this rad Camaro. Look at the meat on those tires! The guy was in Advance looking for a part when I checked out. Pretty sure he saw me poach the photo of our cool azz rides. We cranked up at the same time and both had to pull u-ees in oposite directions. He let me go first. It's an SS, I bet it gets down!

Replaced about 15 feet of vacuum hoses. Still have some more to do. Bought a new PCV and PCV grommet, along with new 3/4 heater hose for the air pump cr@p and new hose clamps for those connections. The clamps on there, someone bought the cheapest, flimsiest clamps they could find, as they won't even go tighter than finger tight before they skip.

I highly recommend a sway bar disconnect kit. I have the exact same springs and shocks on mine. Before the sway bar disconnect kit, it was rough. Sway bar connected with the disconnect kit, back to feeling about like it did stock, then with the sway bar disconnected, rides great.

The reds and oranges come back so nice! Looks great!

I have to give mine a try one of these days, I've never buffed before so that's pretty much all that's holding me back lol

It's been like 30 years since I've done it. It takes practice and can be a little intimidating but you can do it. Got the variable speed buffer on Amazon and the Mcguires compound at Walmart.

Just start out at slower speed and don't need to use a lot of pressure and keep it moving. Be careful on the edges so you don't burn the paint.

A tip is to put tape over the edges so you don't burn through the paint. Then go back and buff by hand where the tape was. I taped off the edge of the hood because I knew it would take the primer right off. I'm not too worried if I have a couple of spots I mess up on mine. Lol

Just take your time go slow.

I did this on the 82's paint and it's in much more worse shape than the 84. It may help y'all a little bit understand how to do it.

Fender and door. I used to do a couple vehicles in a day at the shop in my 20s. Now in my 50s gotta take a few breaks. Lol
