thanks Dan. Yes, this one is brand new.
Any particular type of recommendations for lube for the speedo cable?
Silicone spray, ptfe "dry" bicycle chain lube, or other?

@squaredeal91 @bucket The sylglide I had...and still do, was in a yellow and white tube with black markings??...kinda like the old balkamp stuff? But things change!! And Andy, it worked at the time for what we needed. Theoretically that cable was sealed by the treads at the bottom and a fairly tight fit at the speedo head, never did see much contamination as long as the threads were secure. I also used a carb cleaner spray to clean out the inside of the cable housing.........gotta remember this was way before brake parts cleaner!!!!!!!

4wd swap getting kicked off. Frame prepped and primed and rattle canned. The wire wheel worked way faster than I thought it would, just goes to show our frames up here in ND are just rust colored lol. Zero pitting, cleaned up really fast and finish is nice.

One side final mounted. ORD 2wd to 4wd front hangers. 7/16 holes, a couple extra holes on the rear, two on the bottom rail, fits the bottom contour very good. Fits great overall.

Also this goes out to the naysayers about 2wd to 4wd. It's no big deal these days. Parts are available and we are FAR from the first to do it. I'm doing a whole build, so I'm way deeper in, but I'd do a basic swap over a body swap any day. I also have a collection of 4wd parts.

Im gonna get my build thread started soon.

Not my truck

but I thought I'd share with you guys something neat I found. Just ordered a cupholder set that replaces the pouch on the door panel and a lower 5.25 speaker housing set for my truck. I thought it'd be cool because I hate the ashtray cupholders and I don't like cutting holes in the doors for speakers. I'll update when I get them, might be a while.

Stealth mode activated (put cover back on light bar lol) drove without it for a while and none of the local cops or highway patrol seem to mind but decided to put it back anyway

I've seen the cupholder but not the speaker pod. Def let us know what you think. I like the idea of the cupholder/pocket, but I already rest my knee on the door so not sure how much that would intrude
