Got the $60 lens for the lund visor. Well the angle was wrong. Instead of sending back (cuz his angles in the pics were as bad I what I received), I decided for sake of time to heat them up and bend them myself.

I built a jig with plastic inside so the lens could spread as I compressed with the c clamps.

I then threw them into the sous vide machine (water bath for cooking) @ 153°. Pulled them, cranked a bit, then threw them back in if needed and so on. Let them cool for about an hour so they would set.

Yes those are brats cooking with them....153 perfect temp for them.

New headlight on the driver's side.A 13 year old boy playing with a sling shot broke it yesterday.I was glad his dad did take care of it,bought a new headlight and did replace it.Had his son come down and apologize to me this afternoon.I accepted his apology and glad he learned his lesson.
At least it was a slingshot and not some dumb new thing, especially with the resolution. Like the kid raged and threw his gameboy or something dumb lol. Gives me a little hope.

Well, that was an all day project. Fully lined with Vibro Solution 2mm MAT with black foil backing and it's American made. I also foil taped all seams because I'm a mad man. No blood loss and an all day 80's country marathon on the jungle stream. Win twin. Now for a wobble pop and some YouTube in the garage to watch the sun sink over the mountains. F#ck!n A boys, great day. Great day. Thank you to all who have served and will serve.

Edit: Yes, I kept the original under toolbox pad. It was in decent shape and will provide some original aire de square to counter the new interior smell it will have. Plus, it's easy to delete later if I want.

Took the lady friend out for a date night Friday. Went to dinner in Athens, Ga and then found a cool little local brewery to hang out at for a while

Then went to a friend’s house to help work on her truck and get it ready for C10s in the City. Then went to their local haunt to have a few brewskis

I cleaned it, shined it and drove it to the Jambalaya Festival Car Show. It hauled the canopy, the chairs, the ice chest and of course a bunch of tools that I did not have to use.

Maaan she runs like a boss after throwin on that edelbrock intake and demon carb+new distributor, fuel filter, and vacuum hoses. The transmission even shifts right now! Couldn’t be happier, all that blood sweat and money paid off. Love this thing!
