The little Coleman compressor used to inflate my Ride Rite bags finally died so it got swapped out today.

The new one works like a champ, faster and quieter than the old one.

I need to find something similar for my ARB Front Air Locker. I was even thinking about getting a small 3-5 gallon air tank to have some air in reserve.

Im looking for a small tank for those air horns I got. If I find a good deal I'll pass it on to ya...

I've actually got a tank in mind already. It's a 3 gallon tank I got from a guy who had a Craftsman Air Compressor that went bad. I figured I could cut the carry handle off, and mount it to the truck frame with long bolts thru the rubber feet to keep the noise and vibration down.

They're saying use a one gallon tank for that pump but the motor is thermally protected so if the 3 gallon doesn't fill in the 15 minute duty cycle it will just shut off. I don't run it nearly that much, it fills my air bags to 30 psi in about 25 seconds.

Then maybe this 2 gallon tank will be better. This compressor is junk too. Should be good enough I'd think for reserve air for an air locker and topping off tires with air.

My plan was to put the compressor under the truck on one side, and the tank on the other with a copper line which will also have air capacity, so I can get air from either side of the truck, either off the compressor direct on one side, or the tank on the other. I planned on running the air line to the locker off the tank. I'm not sure how much psi is needed for a locker to engage, but it seems I read somewhere IIRC, you only need 30psi. So if I used the 2 gallon tank and regulated the compressor to 100PSI, then it shouldn't have to work to hard and should work just fine to air tires up to 55psi after an air down to go off-road.

That's the kinda tank I'm looking for to, mainly because people will just about give them away cause they think they are junk...
