What have I gotten myself into

Hello toward the beginning of the summer I came across what seemed to be a very unique truck and was wondering if you guys could help me find some more information/ some sort of valuation on it. It is a 1979 Chevy C30 single cab long bed with the stepside bed. It has a 400 small block motor that runs and drives with a 4 speed manual and a PTO that is connected to a large winch within the bed. I can make out a FINKS Chevrolet logo from Emden Illinois on the passenger door. The body has its fair share of rust however the floorboards inner front fender wells and frame are all very clean. I have attached some photos that I took of it when I bought it!

Any pics of inside the box? Curious if there is any anchor points for a boom or something?
In the 80's I dabbled with a friend for several years in the salvage business. He had a '69 c30 with a pto driven 10k (or possibly even a 10T) winch mounted at the front of a steel flat deck with beaver tail. It had a 1" cable wound on it.
Possibly your set up was something similar and the box was set on later?

Welcome from central NC. LB Stepsides are not seen often especially in 30 series form. I like it! I'm kinda bias though as I have a 79 C20 and just sold a 79 Big 10. Post more pics and info on the ride.
