Looking for a more dog dish style hubcap, but don’t know what will fit on this type of wheel.

I am trying to go for the 3/4 ton look. I want to paint the wheels white or off-white, pull the trim rings and do some type of large dog dish center cap. I will also be doing tires too, just wanted to make sure I had options on this type of wheel.

I believe you can drill and add clips to hold the dog-dish caps on those. I do have a nice set of caps available for sale if you are interested. Go to Detroit steel wheels website and look at the clips they sell and see if they will work for you.

is it a clip specifically designed for the dog dish, or are they for like the corvette derby centercaps? I appreciate your help!

That’s a great look, but those caps will not fit on rally wheels. You would have to change to a stock style steel wheel. Keep your rallys

That’s unfortunate, was definitely digging that look.

Something like this is kind of my goal, but these are different rally’s it looks like. I’d just like to know of any hubcaps that may resemble something like this that will fit my wheels.

Like @FireTruck1984 stated you need a different wheel to fit the "dog dish" caps. The other issue if you are looking for the 3/4 ton look, those wheels are larger, either 16" or 16.5" rims. You could get wheels like these with the molded bumps to hold the caps:

@Old77 is near you, looks like he has a set. Maybe he would swap for the rallies?

Lol! I doubt he will trade for rally's.

The dog dish compatible wheels came in both 5 and 8 lug versions. The five lug versions should be readily available. I know the caps for the 5 lugs are more plentiful than the bigger 8 lug caps.

Wheel Vintiques makes what you want.... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wvi-62-5805044

Didn't someone just post a thread about screwing and tapping the rim to mount the dog dish caps?

I just found a set on near me for $15 a wheel.... I think they are correct??? His actually match my spare 100%.

Is my spare the one I need? It has the 4 nubs on the outside of the inner ring.

Rims and tires can change the entire look. I am opting to keep rallys and try it without the beauty ring. Had my rallys sandblasted and powdercoated, found original centers on ebay, metal not the plastic aftermarket.
now all i have to do is get the body done....haha...got some junkyard wheels on it to make it roll....

Yes, they added to a set of aluminum wheels.

@79dentside here's a good thread from another forum on 1/2 ton center caps. Remember in your search, if you do this, 3/4 ton caps have a larger diameter than 1/2 ton. Also, if you add poverty caps to your rims, the shape of the rally wheel centers will cause the cap to protrude father than a standard wheel.

Measure the lug spacing on the new set. Ford and Dodge both use 5 lug on 4 1/2" center. GM are 5 on 5" center. All three really look alike as they were all made by the same wheel company back in the day.
