Hi im Adam, and this is my C10!
About two weeks ago I purchased a 1985 C10 short bed that has been around Michigan for years.
The floor pans where replaced, but caked in with seam sealer. Repainted and just all around rough.
The older gentleman I purchased it from bought it once he retired from GM. He worked in paint/finishing/detailing for all the cars going to the auto shows, press releases and magazine shoots.
What was a beautiful truck that needed some finishing work was a down to nothing rebuild for what he was trying to accomplish. He wheeled it outside his shop to make room for new him 71'. His co-worker and friend had inherited a 1971 from his mother and heard about his situation. His friend gave him the 71' as it wasn't perfect, but as perfect as you're going to find in Michigan and he knew he would get to see his mom's old truck go to a good forever home.
After talking to him for a bit about everything, it comes to find out he actually knew some of my family. The truck was in rougher shape than I thought it would be, but the frame was straight, the bed was mostly good, and it turned over. He had already done a fair amount of work and everything their seemed savable. A damn nice bench seat he pulled out of the garage didn't help my case either, but he said a price and I couldn't argue.

As you can see I get the joy of having a damn nice place to work on my projects. My girl's family was left a 'Collection' if you will and this awesome warehouse. I get the pleasure of taking care of them and in trade I get to play down here when i'm not busy! They're all for sale and if you're looking for a 56 or 57 Nomad send me a message. I have a couple other 57's for sale as well, but they're all work.
