West Coast Mirrors on square?

Yup. Fold them in! Power angle and heated WC mirrors on a square would be cool! Good mod idea if you are into that look. We have them on some of our Pete's at work too. One of our driver's at work actually has his folded in because the stacks are behind the cab out of the way. And you can mount spot mirrors for blind spots, and they make them heated as well.

You got to watch because most truck doors are straight up and down. The square has a bit of an angle to it. You need to try and find a WC frame that has adjustable arms to get the mirrors to sit straight. Or buy them made to fit the GM truck door.

Hmmm good point thanks. I'll have to see about maybe larger mounts on top to balance it out.

Here is one with adjustable arms. Also got heated mirrors with running lights on the front side if you are into that kind of thing too. Grote has quite a selection.

That's what I don't want Haha too big. My friends here at work today had a good idea. The photo I have posted above, get all that and have a machine shop just make a longer top mount bracket to make up the difference. Would be cheap.

I may be wrong but I think you can take the bracket that the mirror is on off and bolt the mirror to the top and bottom door brackets... My dad and grandpa did this to a dad's 77 wrecker...

It's always fine to revive old threads. It helps with all the repeat threads. What happens is people don't search, start a new thread and then they miss out on some good info from people that have come and gone.

Gonna bring this back once more; I want to add some sort of tow mirrors to my burb one day, and am probably gonna go for the small tripod ones because anything bigger would probably look stupid on a srw suburban... But while decoding my trucks RPO codes, I noticed on one list a code D46. They were apparently tow mirrors that had a marker on them and if there's something I love, it's chicken lights especially on my GMT400 the 2015-up tow mirrors with amber markers looked soooooo good and if I could achieve that with my '89 burb as period correctly as possible, I would probably be creaming every single time I walked out my door to see the truck sitting pretty but so far I haven't found a single picture of them on the interwebs and was wondering if any of y'all had 'em?

im guessing the code was just a combo for getting west coast and the top clearance lights.
