Hmm, Really??? I was born and raised in So Cali, so no I didn't think I talked like a hick. To this day, I still don't even say Ya'll, or supper, back yonder, or as this hick I live with from Arkansas, backair, or upair. I say Back There and Up There as well as supper is dinner.

Nothing wrong with hicks. I just didn't think I was one. But then again, I've been in OK now for more years than Cali so I'm probably converted. I know those candy ass snowflakes in Cali won't have me back with my smoggy ass trucks and all my guns with high cap mags and AK's SKS's and now building AR-15's so NO, I don't see myself moving back. I'd love to move to AZ though.

Too late to completely stop it from damaging things. But... You should still wash it off. It'll stop it from causing more damage than it already has.

There's always a temptation to talk to him and others about the proceedings. You have to resist that urge. Your lawyer will likely tell you that.

It's a miserable state of affairs. It'll make you feel like crap. Your Ex sounds a lot like several of my in-laws women and men... real Gems.

If you must talk to someone about things... A Shrink is required to keep everything you say between you and the shrink and can usually be criminally prosecuted for violating that confidentiality... except in the case of murder and rape.
Not trying to push religion... But... If you're religious. Check with your lawyer about what your state says about the confidentiality of things said in private counseling with your clergy... your bishop, branch president, priest, minister, or pastor.

Of all things, keep in mind that your kids didn't choose any of this and it's not their fault whatsoever. No matter what, even if the kids are making comments about daddy being mean or I don't like daddy, whatever the case may be, they do tend to say things like that as if to be consoling a parent, and they may be doing the exact same thing on his end saying the same about you to console him. Just saying, keep the kids in mind when you're saying things in their hearing abiltiy, or seeing things you're doing. I doubt anyone does it on purpose, but in the heat of the moment of hurt and anger parents tend to lose sight of the kids and bad things happen. Do certainly defend yourself and the kids, but take the high road otherwise. It usually pays off in court if you do and you're likely to get things your way.
