If I’m remembering correctly (not home currently to check diagram) the pnk wire goes back to wiper switch to ground wash pump when selected. The white wire brings power from fuse block to washer pump. Wipers work the same way- white brings current & the other color wires take it to ground depending on speed selection at switch.

If you have voltage on pnk wire (without hitting wash) it’s wired wrong. Should have voltage on white

Your correct voltage is what any thoughts maybe pink not grounded ? It goes from switch to module to fire wall than motor

Does the white wire at the washer have ~12 volts? If it does, the pink wire is probably not getting to ground (broken or loose connection etc..)

In an 87 v10 your bulkhead (going through firewall) should be similar to the two attachment. I am unable to see the portion that the washer pnk & wht go to in your picture.

These guys are correct about the wires. I just completely replaced that wiring and switch myself dealing with mismatched harnesses.

The pink does in fact send ground to the squirter motor from the switch though it changes color somewhere between the motor and switch. Best way to test it is with a voltmeter; put the negative prong to that wire and positive to the positive terminal on the batter then see if activating the switch in the cab sends ground. It should not if the switch isn't activated. If the pink wire was worn and touching metal it would have constant ground and you'd be seeing fluid the entire time the ignition was on.

Lastly if you find the wiring/switch is good and the squirter motor is just bad, and you don't want to replace the whole thing, there are a lot of aftermarket wiper fluid bottles available with an integrated motor. You would just have to redirect those 2 wires and the water lines to the new setup.

If you have power on white wire at washer and the pink wire appears good to the bulkhead- you could use a piece of wire to jump the pink connector to the black connector at the module to see if the washer works. If it doesn’t - remove the module and use the wire to jump the pink and black wires at the connector directly . FYI the wire connector will plug directly into the switch without the module. (The module just adds delay)
