Wanted: Stock tape deck

I install a 1/8 headphone jack that when an iphone or ipod is plugged in to it, it interrupts the radio signal and plays the device through the speakers. A LOT clearer than a cassette adapter.

This is the one I sent 89Suburban. I put the jack directly in the face but I can also have it anywhere in the truck.

This is what my next square will be getting. I have the jack for it running out the back of the radio. I have this in my van right now and I run it out the console.

i use to hate cutting the dash but then i relized it is a must now days to have a decent stereo

as long as its cut right i don't mind doing it
my 71 was original stereo when i got it i cut the dash and mounted a kenwood with sirius radio and have never regretted it

i have the stock radio out of my 84 gmc jimmy not sure if it was a tape deck or not if it is and you want it pay shipping and you can have it

but i say get over the not wanting to cut the dash and install a good stereo and you will be happier in the long run

the only way i would not cut the dash is if i was restoring to original from bumper to bumper

Completly agree, my 1Din in my truck sounds alot better than the factory radios. i also have a dash that i can cut a patch panel to fix mine if need be.

I have an 85 Blazer Tape Deck, that works still, was gonna put it in a 79 Jimmy 1 problem its too big lol. I'll get rid of it. I'll pm ya for details.

If it was an 8 track CB, I'd be trying to talk you out of it. Lol

Got a stock one from an 86 I've be willing to sell, am/fm cassette, don't remember if it's manual tune, or digital though.

sorry guys. i sold my 87 to buy a 94 which has a working tapedeck... lol.. Plus i have been really busy latley and havent been able to get on much.
