I need an original lever for a 1988 K5 Silverado. One with the cruise/wiper/turn signal, all black.
I purchased the K5 sight unseen (stupid) from Idaho. The original lever was broken but bent severly before it broke.
I purchased a cheap aftermarker lever which snapped when my son bumped it while installing my hand controls (can't use my legs.) Then I purchased an AC Delco thinking it would be better. Didn't have my hand controls adjusted quite right and when I pushed on the brakes "SNAP!"
My son is going to readjust the hand controls but I'd like to find a lever that is factory original as I'm convinced it will be better quality than any aftermarket lever.
I think any K5 or C/K Silverado would all be the same. Might be hard finding a column someone will part out but worth a try.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, trukman1
