Has anybody had any luck with vinyl wrapping the entire face of their gauge bezel? No sanding or other miscellaneous prep work. I searched around and can't really find a good example.

I'm pretty competent, but I don't usually do these kinds of applications. I would be looking for a woodgrain pattern, ideally. Let me know if I missed the "gauge bezel thread," haha!

I have an old woodgrain bezel, but it's beat up, and I like durability and new design features (extra pocket, no a/c) of some of the new bezels. Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks!

What about hydro dipping?

I saw a video of that on Facebook or something. They made it look easy, but I'm pretty skeptical that I could pull it off. Does woodgrain pattern work well in that process?

I’m not sure if it’s easy to do but I would assume it looks just fine. There was a place that did it not too far from me but I’ve never had anything done. Try YouTube.

Shelf paper for the win lol

I have seen this in a vinyl adhesive backing at Lowes and/or Home Depot and thought about overlaying on bezel, but never started cause I wasn't sure how well it would work.

Nor have I but I think the use of a hair dryer would aid installation.

If I could find an old cheap bezel to try it so if it got screwed up then it would not matter.
