V30 454 on propane question

There's all kinds of setups, I just snagged the first one i saw..

There is some with 2 of them mixers 2 regulators and 2 heaters. They are for like 600hp applications. The just mount to a single square flange intake much like the one you pictured but have an adapter for 2.

Yeah, neighbor of mine had a setup like that in a Chevelle with a 12.5:1 468, that thing hauled ass and got good mileage too.

With a Quadrajet base. I wouldn't get rid of it. Is your truck dual fuel or propane only? The one on your seat is propane only.

It is dual fuel. Tbi 454. Has the fuel tanks removed tho. Previous owner took them out to clean and said they were trash and never got around to adding new tanks so he ran it ok propane only for the last 9yrs but only drove it like 1,000 miles a year maybe around town.

Does it seem to run pretty well on LP? I did some research on going that route but with my hp level everything said dual mixers and for what that cost I could buy a E85 carb and associated components.

It runs amazing! Best running square I've owned! Runs and idles amazing. Has some get up and go too.
