I used to see a 2 tone yellow one near the Flint area about 25 years ago. Used to see it all the time when I was in high school. Haven't seen it since.
That sounds like the one I’m talking about.

Lol, I can't even remember the last time I laid eyes on it. I recall I always used to see it near the intersection of m-15 and Lapeer rd.

@Battlac40 this is the only style I've ever seen local to me. It was a k20 and was not for sale very long.
Never seen a k truck version. I've only run across the 2wd version on here or on the road.

The one I would see was yellow but I’d see it parked in Birch Run at a house on Main Street. I don’t imagine there were tons of them around in that timeframe.

i had a 1961 dodge crew cab , w300 , 19.5 wheels, 4x4, twin stick transfer case (not sure if was original) 4 speed , no ps , pb , no ac , old power company truck spot light on top , had front and rear pto , for winches or other items . wonderful truck max speed 48 mph governored. 9 mpg in town 10 mpg on the road. 54k miles
We had 4dr 4WD Dodge pickups when I was in the Navy stationed at a missile testing facility in the desert. I think they were mostly late 1960s models and were called Power Wagons. I still remember them riding and handling like dump trucks. 0-60 mph probably took 20 seconds or more, if they could even get to 60, but there was no stopping them off-road in the desert!

And got 6mpg no matter what you were doing, towing, unloaded, 4-wheeling, didn't matter

I always wanted to pick up the Shear'Ree edition Chevy 4X4. They only made 800 of them. Already set up for off road with winch, interior roll cage, 4.56 gears, 36 inch tires, detroit lockers, 454 engine, 205 transfer case, etc. I used to see a few of them on the road here in So. Cal. but I haven't seen one in quite awhile. I believe the year was around 84 or 85 when they came out. I remember going to the Chevy dealer and checking them out. I still had this brochure. I would love to have one now.
