I always wanted to pick up the Shear'Ree edition Chevy 4X4. They only made 800 of them. Already set up for off road with winch, interior roll cage, 4.56 gears, 36 inch tires, detroit lockers, 454 engine, 205 transfer case, etc. I used to see a few of them on the road here in So. Cal. but I haven't seen one in quite awhile. I believe the year was around 84 or 85 when they came out. I remember going to the Chevy dealer and checking them out. I still had this brochure. I would love to have one now.

Quite an interesting truck. 85(ish) grille, 81-2 headlight bezels, 75-80 turn signals mounted in the bezels.

I didn't think the 4x4's were available with a big block from the factory?

I'm not sure how rare it is but from everything I've read they didn't make too many of them with these options. I just bought a 1980 K25 Sierra Classic. Factory 350 4bbl, TH400, NP205 with 4.11's. It still has the original two-tone black/silver deluxe paint and the Mystic/Gray two-tone interior and factory AC. At the very least it's a color combination I've never seen before and we have a ton of square bodies up here in Oregon.

Where's the pictures?!!!

There were so many different combinations of options then, finding any truck with a specific power train/color/trim combo is really hard these days. But yours sure sounds like a good one!

I feel like there is so much commonality between all the years that sometimes the odd outliers get missed. For instance, trying to find some things that I thought would be readily available has been very hard for this truck. The mystic white interior was only available in 79-80 and only in the Sierra Classic Package. It is the same as the Silverado Oyster interior. The Gray/Mystic two-tone interior was only available with the black/gray two-tone exterior. I’ve found one place that has the interior panels and paint available for the Mystic color. The fender badges are also missing and it appears that only the Chevrolet badges are reproduced. Trying to find Sierra Classic 25 Fender badges for a reasonable price has been tough. The only ones I can find are on eBay for $60 per side and they are super rough. Here’s some exterior pics. I still need to take some of the interior. It was super dirty and i’m Still in the process of cleaning it up. It hadn’t run or been registered since 2003 and I just got done replacing the fuel pump, sending units, and fuel lines and rebuilding the carb. Also replaced the vacuum lines and fixed all the vacuum routing and leaks. It still runs like a champ even after sitting for that long.
