I always wanted to pick up the Shear'Ree edition Chevy 4X4. They only made 800 of them. Already set up for off road with winch, interior roll cage, 4.56 gears, 36 inch tires, detroit lockers, 454 engine, 205 transfer case, etc. I used to see a few of them on the road here in So. Cal. but I haven't seen one in quite awhile. I believe the year was around 84 or 85 when they came out. I remember going to the Chevy dealer and checking them out. I still had this brochure. I would love to have one now.You must be registered for see images attachYou must be registered for see images attach
Quite an interesting truck. 85(ish) grille, 81-2 headlight bezels, 75-80 turn signals mounted in the bezels.OLD pics!
I'm sure it was sold years ago!

Some of those pics need an asterisk with what has been changed somewhere along the lines and are not original.
I didn't think the 4x4's were available with a big block from the factory?
Good to know.'81-up K30 was available with a 454.

mine got 10 , with 225 slap six, governed to 58 or about , unstopable ,And got 6mpg no matter what you were doing, towing, unloaded, 4-wheeling, didn't matter
never saw one of those? You must be registered for see images attachThere was one in the town I grew up in. Very similar to this one.
I'm not sure how rare it is but from everything I've read they didn't make too many of them with these options. I just bought a 1980 K25 Sierra Classic. Factory 350 4bbl, TH400, NP205 with 4.11's. It still has the original two-tone black/silver deluxe paint and the Mystic/Gray two-tone interior and factory AC. At the very least it's a color combination I've never seen before and we have a ton of square bodies up here in Oregon.
Where's the pictures?!!!
There were so many different combinations of options then, finding any truck with a specific power train/color/trim combo is really hard these days. But yours sure sounds like a good one!
