Keep 'em coming. Here's some pics of "Joseph". Named for his coat of many colors of course. The back door is red on the passenger side. The interior is blue, with grey door panels. It's got a VE Pump 12 Valve/NV4500/NP205/KP60/Corp 14 bolt. All the good stuff. Powertrain is bone stock, gets 19.9mpg with 4.10's and 37's. Really hoping somebody can post up a truck with WA7154.

I'm not entirely sure WA7154 was used as a primary color? I know I've seen it as a secondary color. But, looking at the color charts, that '87 med blue 7154 is extremely close to the mid-late 70's Hawaiian Blue.

Sorry, I accidentally hid the 7154 paint code in the pic, but that's the one right there above the Hawaiian Blue card.

Yep, looks like it.

Side note, I'm very thankful you posted a picture of your SPID. That's the first time I've ever seen a factory built 3/4 ton truck with a 700R4 trans. Now I 100% believe people that said it was available, lol.

That's weird. 700r4 equipped 3/4 tons seem to be more common up here than the 400 optioned ones. The '87 3/4 4x that I picked up before my '84 cucv had the 700r4. Hell, that trans is still sitting in my garage.

It's a hard color to find examples of, I couldn't find one without two-tone.
Is that your book???? If so does it cover 78?

I remember your old truck and its hubcaps. I guess I was unaware of the trans.

Yeah, it's my book. I got it from the shop I used to work at, the new charts were added every year. I'm missing a couple pages here and there, but I think '79 might be the oldest. I have a couple other books too. Watcha lookin fur?

I'm not entirely sure WA7154 was used as a primary color? I know I've seen it as a secondary color. But, looking at the color charts, that '87 med blue 7154 is extremely close to the mid-late 70's Hawaiian Blue.

Sorry, I accidentally hid the 7154 paint code in the pic, but that's the one right there above the Hawaiian Blue card.

Notice it is the same code 23

In '77 it was called Medium Blue 23

Mariner Blue was Bright Blue Metalic also known as Catalina Blue code 25

confusing?

Hawaiian Blue is a freaking.terrific.color.

Nice ride.:waytogo:

This is unknown 1977 blue. Anybody's guess is as good as mine. It's no Hawaiian blue, it seems lighter than that. I guess "medium"
