Here it is. These are on the passenger side right behind the front of the fuel tank. If I had to guess that code, it's the mft date code. First Shift, 148th day of 1985.

Here is my partial vin on 85. located behind the cab near the shackle/spring crossmember

No match with the cab VIN tag. Will search further on the top of the passenger side frame rail (top). Thanks for the responses
