you can get any gear set you want . thanks to Retro I found out that my new truck has 4.11 gear and a oem locker in it

I think the carriers go from 3.73 and up and 3.42 and down so I would assume 3.73 gears wont fit on a carrier that has 3.07 gears.

Get the thick gear set. Motive sells a thin set with a spacer to adapt it for the 3.08 carrier, AVOID THIS ONE AT ALL COSTS! I sheared every ring gear bolt and pushed them through the diff cover, gutting everything I had done. The thick gearsets will work with the 3.08 carrier.
