I had the 2wd Stampede first, then traded that in and I got a 4WD one, I don't remember the name of it....you must of had a 2 wheel drive the 4x4 is only a couple years old now
but even the 2 wheel drive is awsome i have it to
i have a t-maxx to its fun but a gas truck is way more work to keep running correct.
the new brushless motors and lipo batteries perform really good and are pretty low maint. except the parts you break when you crash.
How about the Axial rigs, they are pretty sweet, more of a low speed obstacle setup. This is a pretty cool vid, check out out the 6x6 Cabover, it will be the fourth one in the line:ya i have broke almost every part on my 2 wheel drive stampede and my rustler and upgraded to rpm parts they can take a beating now
rpm parts are a stronger plastic and are only a few bucks more than stock traxxas parts. and they have a lifetime warranty send it back to them they send you a new one.
i pretty much have almost all the electric traxxas trucks or plan to get what i don't have.
traxxas builds some strong trucks

Do you remember the Tamiya R/C Toyota with the leafs springs? That was pretty cool for it's time, back in 1985. It's getting re-released this year with LED lighting, pretty sweet kit. Around :46 this video shows the good stuff...
