That is bad ass. Please share any updates on it here. They don't exist around here much anymore.

I suggest getting a HEI distributor for it to handle wet weather issues. Great mod.

I'd say that was a good trade!! While I'm not a Dodge fan if I was to ever get one it'd be that body style of either truck or the Ramcharger. :) I like what you've done :)

It's got the cool rims too. They are hard to come by. I always wanted to run a set of those on one of my Dodges.

Thought about that once I noticed it was the old style distributor. I know almost nothing about a Dodge, this is the first one I've owned. I wasn't too sure about the wheels at first but, I cleaned 'em up and painted 'em black today and they're starting to grow on me. I may still repaint them silver or gunmetal but not sure. All in all its a pretty sweet old truck..

The ignition module on the firewall, they are known to have the gel packing in the back of it start to melt away.

Still kinda on the fench about the black.. usually like black wheels on a white vehicle but I think a dark silver or gunmetal grey might look better.. any thoughts?

I took one of each and built one but I am sure you can find an aftermarket HEI to fit that motor on eBay or something. My Dodge years were way back. I haven't wrenched on one of this good old girls for 10-15 years. I owned about 15 different 70-80's dodge trucks and Ramchargers. My favorite was a a '78 Ramcharger I had that had a 2 tone paint with a green interior. No, that was my second favorite. My favorite was the first D100 I bought with a slant six and A883 trans. Live the slant six motors. But the 318's and 360's were good motors too. I beat the **** out of them and never had one blown head gasket or cracked head. Those things were bulletproof. And only had 1 auto trans in all those take a **** on me. If the internet revolution hit back in those days I am sure I would still be running them. I just got bit by the GMSB trucks at the the time and here I am now. The Suburban really made me jump the fence. Love the suburbans. I don't think I will never drive anything else if I can help it. Sorry for the HRPC rambling post. I see LMC Truck just came out with a brand new catalog for that generation of Dodge trucks trucks too btw. I might just get one to reminisce. I'll definitely be watching along in his thread.

Yeah my suburban is still my baby but , I am starting to get attached to the old dodge. Its nice having a truck again too. As much as I like it, it would definitely go long before the burb...

I agree about the black wheels. A gunmetal or silver would look a lot better IMO

Right now I really haven't got any plans for it.. probably lower it a few inches, ditch the all-terrain rear tires and get some decent ones for the front, put a exhaust on it and drive it.. right now it gets pretty good fuel mileage with the 2 barrel...
