I've had 2 flats/blowouts in my 28 yrs of driving both from humongous potholes I just wasnt able to avoid.
My son has had 5 in 5 yrs but never hits anything
If you travel with a group of other truck guys, one of them will probably have a spare an would let you borrow it if need be I bet. We had a guy in our group with a long bed that would always have 2 with him!
