I figure the 700 might give out, it's just my luck. She's been sitting for 5 years, I got her fired up, got the slime and sludge all pumped thru the trans, she goes in all gears, as a little driving around the property went on, it shifted better and better, but boy was it retarded when it came to downshifting.
Get up to 3rd gear, then get down to 10 mph

Gonna change the filter and fluid, but it's been my experience, once you pour the "pixie dust" out, it don't wanna act right anymore

I had a 700R in my 90' gmt400 4wd and beat the piss outta it and never had a problem but never pulled with it. My 4L60E i yanked a car dolly and an s10 and an olds 88 and never had issues. That was in a 94' suburban though.
