Are they really that much bigger then the stock square body ones? They look about the same to me other then the bend in the stem
They are the same size the stem just keeps them closer to the body.

You wouldn't happen to know a brand name, or where those could be found, would you?
The extension would work good when I use my slide-in camper.

I don't know other then that he made them up. He took some tow mirrors and put them on regular bases. I can post a link but it's to another square body site as long as that's ok. I'm really thinking about doing this to my crew cab. It's the best looking I've seen yet.

Here's how I did the new style. Still some refinement to do but here's my start

These are GM mirror heads for a Camper Special or chassis cab van at least through '91. The easy way to tell is the 4 screws on the head. These allow you to adjust the tension on the arm to rotate and adjust the mirror head. These are the 3 points on my old '87.

The tow mirrors on my 89 have the screws in them. It's not a camper special as far as I know

I had the same large tripod frame mirrors on the '87 3/4 I just parted. don't think it had anything to do with the camper special package, just the factory tow mirrors.

Turn them over to create down force for better cornering.
