Thanks that's the kind of information I'm looking for. 063 215 290 are the last 3 digits in casting numbers correct?
That crew cab is freekin awesome by the way!

Thanks , and yes on the last three , my heads are , (two sets) , #3964290. My crew cab heads have major porting and bigger valve's and a bigger cam , better valve terrain as to run out a bit better , also port matched intake.

Ok guys I lost a cam Loeb on #8 I think the cheapest fix is an RV Towing Cam Kit because I can't afford to rebuild a big block right now so I was looking on eBay at cam kits. For around $200 it seems I can get Cam lifters gaskets zinc and assembly Lube but there's several different lift and duration camshafts I was wondering if you guys could recommend one for my 350 Chevy it's got Mexico heads and an Edelbrock Performer intake and it's an L82 bottom end that's been rebuilt by who knows who that's probably why it wipe the cam. I should probably order by tonight so that I have it for next weekend so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated thank you

Woah.

Kinda begs the question what did that engine came out of that made you think it was a good fit for that truck? If you'you're gonna say it came out of a '77 Monte Carlo with a full rollcage, no dash, no glass, and four (15x12) BARTS on it with a 5 gallon fuel cell in the trunk i'm gonna have other questions...lol

Is there a build thread?
This is very entertaining! I'm sure we'd all like to see!

Matter or fact, don't you guys think there should be a previous owner horrors thread of some kind? What does it take to make it happen?

I got it back together I am not a mechanic I am not an electrician I still can't figure out how to make my oil pressure gauge work I still can't figure out how to make my gas gauge work but it runs however it has a little bit of a shake to it maybe I've got a valve too tight I'm not sure I was chasing vacuum leaks and timing all afternoon it does run way better than it did before. It's not finished I still got to put the grill and stuff back in it but I was tired and my nerves are shot!

If you check out my build thread is a really good read I've evenI've even had to section frame horns in this truck because the previous owner sold them off to put a semi truck front bumper on it. It had no body mount bolts the engine was sitting in there on Chevelle clamshells and the cab was resting on the transfer case. It's come a long way
