What are the complications in converting a 2wd frame to 4wd with a three link coil over conversion? Before anyone says buy a 4wd frame I want to do coil overs anyhow so shouldn’t it be as simple as keeping good geometry or is there that large of a difference in the frames?

No difference in the frame, front suspension obviously changes though, but the stamping marks for suspension components are all there.

Bringing this one back to the top, hoping someone smarter than me can provide some useful information.

I wonder if a standard link kit for a 4x4 frame would work with some or possibly no modifications.

It should. The only real difference is the very front crossmember. Then the parking brake cables have little cutouts and a dent on 2wd's on my two one tons anyways. Probably wouldn't matter on a link kit. But for a leaf swap they are directly in the way for the spring hanger.
