Same butt ugly face as the new Camaro. Conspiracy Theory Alert ahead!
Heard the other day that GM is shelving the Camaro again in 2023, may possibly be for good if some of the other rumors lead together. Fiat Chrysler was pursuing a merger with GM, but now looks like they are pushing a merger with Renault BMW which would make them the third largest carmaker. If that pans out, financials are predicting that GM will most likely make an offer to merge with Ford to fix each of their marketing questions. If that was to happen, that would be a reason not to need the Camaro in your lot since you would have the all new C8 and the Mustang to try and compete with for sales.

A real shame to hear (if it's true) they'll take away the camaro.

Much like the Pontiac's of the 60/70's with the ram air technology that spanked Chevrolet's corvette.

It had to be "shelved", because the corvette is the big seller.

I work for FCA, the FCA REnualt Merger was shot down by the French government 3 weeks ago.

There were never talks to merge with GM.

Nor are there talks to merge GM with Ford. It wouldn't fit with Barra's plan for an all electric GM.

Don't care about the chrysler side of things, just some of the crap I read about in the financial speculations bothered me. I know it's all about money, but hell, if GM and Ford ever actually merged, even just talking to each other about it...can't even think of a close comparison other than possibly re-marrying your ex just because she learned to pole dance and she looks hot now that you switched to whiskey from beer. :Stupid Me:

I don't think the general public is on board with any further bailouts of these companies.

So whatever it takes for them to sink or swim is what it'll take.

If the general public even has a say in it. 'Whats best for us' is usually whats money and power for them. They'll have a 'MUST do this NOW and debate it later'....like Nancy's I've vote for it then read whats in it.

The banks are even worse. Bank of England guestimates the US banks' derivative accounts are into the SEPT-tillions. Eventually the fat lady will sing.

Reported economic numbers of any sector or topic are the most skewed of all....can be reported up or down - whichever the plutocracy needs at that time. I worked in a brokerage for 3 yrs and found out just how 'free' this market isn't.

Yep, my 91 s-10 blazer that I'm doing the v-8 conversion on came with a 4.3l, same as my 94. Through the 80's till maybe 88 (?) they came with the smaller 2.8l v6 discontinued maybe around 92, also the same motor that was in the Jeep Cherokee also for a few years late 80's. The earlier 4.3l was throttle body without a balance shaft, so had a little vibration noticeable in the motor due to firing order I think, then the later 4.3l maybe around 92 added a balance shaft and CPI injection with the spider hoses, one injector and poppet valves at each cylinder.
