Rockers are rotted in just a short spot, tires are like new but BADLY dry rotted and the inner fender on the drivers side is see through. But i can fix all that in a day!I wonder why they wouldn't inspect it? Looks pretty clean to me.
Partially think they lied to him just to take him for a ride....I wonder why they wouldn't inspect it? Looks pretty clean to me.

Working in a scrap yard and getting in a brand new sealed box of aluminum press plates the same day this truck came in, i KNOW i can cover that hole until i can get a real rocker. Ever mention i LOVE workin in a scrap yard???In Pennsylvania, no sharp edges or holes into the passenger compartment. That rust could be fixed with one cut open beer can and poprivets.
And the documents.. oh yea it also still has the spid label!

Only thing i wish is that this one was 4x4 and 5spd with that 4.3 but im not bein picky! That 4.3 is enough to make me happy!! So it has an OD trans in it, any idea what it would be?I had a pair of 91's, both long beds and both with the 4.3 V6. One was an auto and the other was a 5-speed. Both trucks were the Tahoe trim level too with tilt and delay, full carpet and cloth and whatnot. They were great trucks.
Great to hear this!Well played lets make a deal with the bossman today and im gunna be the proud new owner of a 91! S10 for the cool price of $400!! SUPER EXCITED!!!
So now the plan is once its actually mine im gunna fix the rockers, new tires and inspection then its gettin rattle canned satin black and windows tinted and make it my daily and the 78 is gunna head to the body shop for cab work.Great to hear this!

May not know the reference but....700r4. The 2wd's can be fun though. I did exhaust, springs, sway bars, fat 16's, blacked out and body colored trim, factory fogs, and a sweet bucket seat interior. That was the 5-speed truck, it was a hoot.
