I'm thinking of ways to mix up the look of my truck a little bit and would like some feedback/ideas on what you guys think. For one, I LOVE the rally wheel look and may go that route but what do you guys think about just going with some steel wheels and tradition hub caps?

Similar to this but probably not paint them white...

I've also thought about this route, too, because these are the hubcaps that my grandpa had on his '79 when I was little...

I've always liked the color matched ralleys, it's a classic look.

Back in the day I had a 1972 4x4 blazer and I had stockton wheel make me some 15x12 wide steel wheels and painted them the same color as the blazer and I ran the small , dog dish hub caps inside , it looked great. I personally really like the deep wheel look with the stock caps.

Do you have any pics? Roughly how much did they charge to make those?

It was a long time ago , but as i recall the were 135 each and I already had the caps , I will try and dig up a pic. You can call some one like bart wheels and have them put new rings , ( any width) on your stock centers , I think.
