Steering rack ended up being almost a two month thing to be sorted. Finished up replacing the switch on the passenger side door and went for alignment. I believe still ended up being a tooth off on the rack center, but at least it is working and drives straight. Had to build a ramp to get on/off for alignment.

Looks familiar, that what they have to do to get my z28's on the alignment machine.

Someone already did a poor and messy(failed) attempt on gluing the hinge area on the hatch glass. My turn for hopefully cleaner and more lasting attempt.

For about 100th time doing door/window alignment. These cars are horrible on door/window alignment. A single track in the rear locates and controls the glass. Front just hangs in a front guide without any control. And then door alignment has to agree with window alignment followed with door panel alignment. Door has to be located perfectly for the door panel to fit, as door panel it self does not really have any adjustments.

For such a neat car, they really cheaped out on it.

You are doing a swell job of bringing it back.

I think it is not as much as it was cheaped out, but trying to keep cost reasonable with low production run

The hatch hinge mount was separated due to improper adjustment of the hinge on the side. But for now, just not using the trunk until I have time to pull the headliner partially to adjust it. But at the same time listed it for sale. Suddenly decided to try and move to a different house and need more of down-payment funds.
