Now I have a professionally rebuilt HD K series th400 with exactly 2152 miles on it sitting in my garage. What to do?
Find a truck to put it in?
I've got one with zero miles on it, sitting under the work bench. I may put it in my K5, just because. But then I'll have a perfectly operational th350 sitting around... it's a vicious cycle.
Yep, the best course of action is to buy a truck that needs a trans
Problem is, once you go overdrive you can never go back.
Pictures please, I'm hoping to do this on my Stepper.

The stepper has been put on the back burner. I was supposed to retire the first of the year, but was unable to. Hopefully this summer, then I can get serious about it. I have been gathering parts though, and may have found a tranny if I can convince the guy to part with the truck. I had found one right before Covid, but the yard shut down for a while and the next time I got over to it the trans was gone.

Yeah, it did, but it wasn't the Covid, wife was diagnosed with cancer. Had to keep working to keep the insurance. The good news is that after an operation and chemo, they think she is cancer free. She goes in for a cat scan next week to be sure. That sucks. The scamdemic really screwed things up.
