Ok as some you know I got screwed by a "trans shop" and I use the term loosely. After a self rebuild with help from here, these are the before and after spec you could say of the performance of the engine. 1 before idle was at 1000 rpm could not go below and would only idle after it would reach 150 degrees, After I put everything back my rpm automaticly went to 1500 rpm no throttle so adjusted idle down to lopping around 650-750 at 120 degrees and no choke. 2 truck wouldnt shift at all untill high in the rpm. (truck is on blocks for now for brakes but wheels and tires are on truck shifted twice 1-2 and 2-3. and tires would turn slowly unitl i hit the gas at idle i could all but stop them with my hands( with gloves of course). 3 also found only one check valve in and no spacer plate in valve body. Also my wife says its not as loud now at even before i turned down the rpm at idle ( not sure I like that lol. 4 thanks everyone for the help of the rebuild. cant wait to get it on the road after all these years.

I dont know where you would find the allen screws for the hubs, maybe Fastenall or some place like that. The spindle nut spanner socket can be picked up at just about any parts store. It should be 4 tangs instead of 6. Unless it is a dana 44 or something, then you may have to look at the ford d44 spanner socket or make one.

ok did the road test today and everything went good glad to finally get it on the road. although one concern is a rattle sound when I lay into the throttle and only time. doesn't seem to hurt the performance though going to check the governor tomorrow.

Hmm rattles? You sure you got the torque converter bolts tight right? Past that, not sure what else it could be that would have to do with trans. Did you maybe remove an exhaust hanger to get it in and out and forget to re install it?
