Temperature gauge maxes out

@Bextreme04 I’m having the same issue on my truck aluminum intake and after market temp sensor. It’s in the passenger side of the intake. My gauge max’s out slowly when started. Think the placement is the issue?

Probably not. Verify it isn't actually overheating with a temp gun, then verify the electrical connections. Check the resistance to ground of the sensor itself and then check the wiring back to the gauge. Are you saying you have an aftermarket sensor going to the stock gauge?

this fixed my "over heating " problems my original gauge was giving me false readings saying the truck was running 220 installed this set up on a 100F ac full blast in traffic my truck got up to 195 i also have a cold case radiator and severe duty fan
