tailgate filler plate

are the Chevrolet lettering on the filler piece in the center of my 85 C10 removable. the finish on mine is starting to flake off and it is becoming unsightly. Also does anyone make a replacement piece and any idea of how muck

how hard is this plate to remove, I want to try 78 chevyrados restoration tips on mine seeing as it is just starting to loose it's shine and also want to refinish my Chevrolet text.

4-5 screws on the back side of the tailgate. The emblem is held on by some speed nuts. You can get to them after you get the trim off.
