Anything that is summit branded is usually bottom of the barrel for quality. Few things in this hobby are worse than cheap ass headers!

A buddy of mine put the Summit brand big block headers on his C30 a couple or three years ago. They fit well and he has had no leaks out of them. He did use Remflex gaskets though, not the cheap paper ones.

in my opinion there good. I heard once years ago they were made by flowtech and I have some of those and like them. Could have gone down In quality over the years like allot of other things.

I have a set of their ceramic coated on my C10, but is lowered and for a Chevelle for more ground clearance.

FWIW, good quality. Nice thick flanges. No complaints, but with 4WD you’re jumping through more hoops than I am.

If you know the part number Amazon might have some in stock. I bought a set for my 82 from Amazon that were Hedman brand.

I have the ceramic coated ones on my 85 K-10. The coating is not the best. The headers themselves are not bad quality. I don't have the bars that run from the trans bell housing to the motor mounts. If you have those still on the truck, I'm not sure of the fit. Notice the frame butchery on the driver's side. It was done by a po.

Fwiw, the Hookers on my 76 are their ceramic coating, and looked like yours. They were on my buddies blazer first, and only a couple years old, blazer was a fair weather vehicle too. The ceramic coated hookers on my bosses challenger are the same way.

What is weird is when I sand blasted mine, the “rust” was in between the steel and a layer of the coating, not the steel itself. I cleaned them up and hit them with silver BBQ paint and it’s held up good so far.

I haven't bought their headers, but in my experience Summit quality is pretty good. Not getting top of the line but I think they are good quality for the money on most things. My summit brand carb and alternator have been great so far.

Also they are the best place to buy car batteries. No core and free shipping. And they actually protect the battery in good packaging compared to amazon.
