Thanks for the link, wonder if the same goes for an aftermarket radio that don't have that port, could a USB port be added too I wonder.

I installed a retro sound stereo last week in my 79 Silverado along with the center dash speaker. I love it. Super easy install, classic look and sounds great. I would recommend this set up to anyone.
Which model is that? I'm looking at their Retro Classic RC-900C as a basic pushbutton radio, along with their R-352N OE replacement dash speaker kit.

Yes, RC-900C. The replacement speaker for my center dash is the R-410N.

I put in a retrosound model two with Bluetooth in my truck with new kicker speakers and I couldn't be happier, and if you listen to music on your phone often definitely spend the extra 100 dollars for Bluetooth I use it everyday in my truck
Also get it from crutchfield because they're support is great they're open most hours of the day and you don't have to wait forever for someone to answer

If you grab an 88-91 K5 Cluster bezel, you can neatly trim the metal dash to match the opening of the 88-91 K5/Suburbans and mount a newer style GM CD player. Or if you have the interior gutted and feel ambitious, you can swap out the metal dash sections.

You can also use the Suburban wood grain 88-91 bezels and buy the $50 LMC brushed overlay-it looks good too. I always keep extra ones cause you never know....
