I have a 305 v8 that I thought had a bad fuel pump. but I removed the old one and the plate behind it only to find the plunger rod will not move at all and was all the way against the plate. i hear that they should almost fall out when the plate is removed. like i said mine is stuck as can be and seems a bit off center in the hole. is this normal or do i have a bigger problem? and how do i get the rod unstuck? any info is appreciated.
