I have several projects planned this year for my square, and I’m wondering if I should be stocking up on the parts now, before the 25% tariffs policy goes into effect. Is anyone else thinking of doing the same? Why or why not?

Not trying to make this about politics.

Eh...most of the oversee parts I have bought recently have been crap or needed modifications, looking forward to see some Made in America parts in the future

I wouldn't worry about it. But, if you are going to anyway, stock up. I personally bought a bunch of stuff 4 years ago before the mega-inflation hit. I told my wife that dumb@$$-in-thief would cause prices to skyrocket, and told her we need to buy things we need before it did. Glad I got what I did when I did, but this time around I am not worried about it in the slightest.
