No help. Disconnected throttle cable and with tv cable connected, pedal is easy to push.
Disconnected throttle cable, pedal is harder to push. Must be throttle shaft springs
Or something else. Any help much needed.

Mine was always hard to push too.... I just got used to it. I mean taking on of the return springs made it easier. But I’m not crazy enough to drive with one o_O

I’ve noticed the same. It’s definitely the TV cable in mine, but my car, which has the same setup, is as easy as a new drive by wire vehicle. I just deal with it. It’s manageable, but it’s weird that it’s like that on the truck. Is your TV cable straight, or is angled a little to the side because mine is on the TBI truck. Weird.

Close, it was Back to the Future. You get me, though.

After my Sniper EFI swap my pedal was very stiff and touchy. I installed a throttle lever extension and it made a huge difference.

Try checking the throttle body base gasket . Mine was rubbing the throttle plates and made the pedal very hard to push. I used a spindle sander to make the holes a little bigger and it works great now.
