steering column replacement

So today i thought i would tackle my tilt wheel. it wiggled around and was very loose. about half way through the job i lost it. I am completly lost, on where parts go, damn adhd, so i am gonna just replace the column. What all do i have to do to get this done and how difficult is.

Anyhow, if not, it's pretty straightforward. Just quite a few nuts and bolts and unhooking some electrical connectors and the shifter linkage.

thanks for that picture, i've felt advenurous for the past 9 months of this project, todays more of empty my pocket day. i think ill go to a straight column theres one at the junkyard now for a 100 bucks. money well spent to not have have to tear into a tilt column again!

Just got done today. Picked a used column up at the junkyard for 150 bucks. Extremely straight foward. The only problem i had was the column i got had a broken hazard switch, that was on. After i had it all installed, i had to take the steering wheel off, to turn it off from the inside.

ill go see how much it would be, i honestly don't know how usable it is anymore. but if you really want it ill go check on shipping
