I have an 84 K20. I have about 6" of lift and wanting to add about a 35" tire. I like the steel wheel look but I don't think I can find a tire that tall that will fit my factory 16's. Has anyone had experience with the aftermarket steel wheels that are stock styled?

Like these?

You can put nominal 35s (315-75-16) on 16x10 OE lookin steelies (or 16x8 but that’s a tad narrow imo.)
Or US wheel makes 17-20” steelies and Detroit steel wheels makes 18-22”? steelies.

Do the hub caps snap on or sis you have to make provisions for them?
The mfg offers an option to drill and tap for metal clips that hold the hubcaps on. The rims don’t have the “bumps” on them like OE rims.
Check out their website. It’s pretty informative.

I found out today mine are 16x6.5. Not having much luck finding a 34" or 35" tire that will fit.

Depends on your definition of "fit". Many many sets of 315/75/16's have been installed on factory 6.5" wide wheels and all was well, despite manufacturers' recommendations.

Wheel Vintiques makes steelies. I think you can get at least 10" wide rims. They are in black primer ready for paint, have lugs for hubcaps. But are not cheap.... That is the next thing for my truck, 16" deep white steel with dog dish hubcaps.
