Was my first car. Bought it back. Heavy oil leak and ac loosing charge. Paint been going bad for a while.
Nothing special, just a basic run around vehicle.
And one before picture.
It actually had decent offroad ability as I found one time

My son's first car was a 3000GT with a V6. He loved that thing and would love to one day find a VR4. I remember he removed all the mufflers except for the first resonator and ran new pipes. That car had the most unique tone.

VR4’s are pretty hard to find :)

Always wanted to do a vr4 swap on it or some other crazy config, but it would still end up being a base stealth with little of any value to it. Sold it to a coworker five or so years ago after dumping way too much money in to it. He was having trouble fixing the oil leak, so now it is back with me for now. Did not officially transfer the documents yet, so he might decide to undo the deal if it is fixed.

My neighbor has a stealth with twin turbos. You can see the huge aftermarket intercooler in the bumper cover.

VR4's are cool
I remember when the first came out in the 90s. They use to have a movable wing then they went to the taller one when the car was restyled.

I almost bought a vr4 long ago, but it needed a lot of work. Glad that I did not get it. I think found source of the big leak. Might have been from sitting for a while. Cam seal appears to be leaking.

Oil pan is leaking as well, but main offenders are replaced (cam seals and valve cover gaskets). Hammer is for getting cam gear bolts loose.

Randomly painted one of the risers on the hood( they are used for strut and ac line clearance). Was just to promote motivation to repainting the whole thing.

Random trivia, the dent on the driver side fender/bit of bumper where it joins came from running over the car with my now sold 91 suburban. Was backing out from a very packed driveway and made a mistake. I pulled it out to mostly ok shape after the fact but was very disappointed in my self

I'm not so sure that'll work on ol boy's red money pit..it'd prolly still leak oil and have electrical faults.

Btw 82! I actually remembered to get your money order yesterday - it's goin out later today - I think...i'm about to go to bed.
Been at work since Friday night. :(

Forgot all about it AND THEN! I found that deal again like - "wtf is that? "

There was 91 twin turbo awd version I put together while using red one as a daily. One of those buy the cheapest thing in the country and have it shipped sight unseen things. Turbo and awd make for a nice ride. But sold it rather quickly.

leaks less oil than half of the gm things i own. Red one is a base stripped down model. It even worked out as a tow truck for a bit moving parts car around
